Benchmade is updating their site :D

If you click on the detail of the fixed blade Presidio, you'll get a slightly blurry pic come up with the detail screen.

Looks like to be an impressive piece.

The Presidio Fixed blade looks nice, but I don't know that I like the thought of aluminum handle scales and a 6.2 inch blade that is only .18 thick. Ya' know, That was my biggest gripe about the full size Nimravus; the blade just didn't seem like it was thick enough to hold up to even remotely hard use. I Thought the Nimravus should have been 5/32, and I think the Presidio should be 3/16 (and have G-10 or even zytel for the scales). And, while I'm at it, the Gravitator would have been a for-sure buy for me if it had an Axis Lock. Just my opinion.

Looking at the 707 page... anyone know what "BK1 blade coating" is?

could just be a typo on BC1? idunno.

Reposting a few pictures that some generous SHOT attendee scanned for the BM forums:

I wonder if it was designed by Mike for them since the description is obviously incorrect, since that is NOT a vinyl banner. :D

Why does it seem everyone is so quick to lynch someone at the drop of a pin any more?

ALL THE PICS ARE UP! How Cool!

The juju is pretty darn cool for 80 bucks...but just LOOK at the mini-skirmish! Oh , MAN is that cool. Gotta find it for cheaper now!

Hear, hear.

I am with you 110% on ALL those issues. The thin Nim blade scares me.

A Hybrid AXIS would have totally kicked ass. A 4.75" bladed AXIS Hybrid would be cooler, but a linerlock Hybrid... sigh.

They made the Resistor an AXIS, and made it ugly in the process... why not the Hybrid!?

I am new to Benchmade, so have no experience with their time-to-market. Based on past experience, would anyone have an idea of when these knives might be available?

Thanks, -Alex
