But make it in a 5.5" size.

Given your switch to fixed blades I would have thought the new Arvensis would be up your alley.

That one looks very good. Wish it was better steel for the price but 154 is a very good steel as is. Also disappointed in the sheath attachment. I have a bunch of those American Sportsman clips from SOG. They are adequate but in no way "an innovative sheath attachment feature that allows for integration with almost anything" that Benchmade claims. I'll have to add a clip plate or something. None the less, excited to see some reviews!

As for a large Crook River? I'm with you CM. I wish everything had a bigger blade.....

Definitely one that's on the list for me and bigger is always better so I agree.;):D:cool:

Really tired of so many sub 4" folders on the market; I don't have tiny hands so a larger knife with bigger handle works better for me.

Let's just combine the two and make it a 5.5" fixed blade.

This works.;):D

That Arvensis design does look awesome; but I'm with you though Cray; 154CM is a good steel but hardly high end by today's knife nut standards... :foot:;)

And the bold part; definitely agree on that.:thumbup::thumbup:

The new BMs are very nice knives. Dig the G 10 barrage too. But that crooked River is tempting, just don't need another 4" bladed knife.

Charlie Mike, bad day for me carousing the forum. I have not purchased a knife this year until now.... that is a sweet ride and I had to have an axis lock in such a fine blade... thanks for the post... TD. S30v

I agree... Better steel and I would buy one. (D2 even!)

Guys, I'm a bit confused about where the posts are referring to 154. This blade is in s30v:indecisiveness::indecisiveness:

The new BM fixed blade.

I will likely still get one at some point. For me D2 vs 154cm isn't enough to push me one way or another. This is kind of like when the contego fixed blade came out. It is S30v but the folder is awesome M4. didn't make sense and I don't see many of them around here. Wonder how they are selling. My hopes are that with the Arvensis it will be more popular and other iterations will come out.
