...Those of you who know me are aware of the fact that Buck's are my knives of preference. I do own a few manufactured by other companies however...Benchmade is one of those companies. I sent an inquiry to Benchmade, about 3 weeks ago, asking if it would be possible to purchase an "optimizer" bar for an Apparition 670. This is the "spring" that is used for the assisted opening feature of this knife. I used the contact form on Benchmade's website for the inquiry. I subsequently forgot about the inquiry altogether. In today's mail I noticed a nice padded envelope addressed to me from somewhere in Oregon with a return address to someplace called BKC...Lo and behold it was from Benchmade and they had sent me a new "optimizer" rod and the set screw...no questions asked...Another great display of customer service from another fine company...Thank you Benchmade...:thumbup: :thumbup:
