Benchmade Knife Identification

This could turn out interesting... maybe it is knife that slipped through without all the procedures done (like Balisongman mentioned). If so, I think that would be a valuable bali...

Can't wait to see a pic

Well, Mr. Pigsticker sent me some pictures of this strange bali:

As you can see it has a 3.5" utility blade, polished/hidden pins, but the larger holes are not counter-sunk.

Chuck, any thoughts? Susan? Dawkind?

Personally I think ,as long as Pigsticker didn't buy it nib from a retail store and instead bought it from just a regular person, that someone bought a BM 10 and polished/ground/smoothed down the pins so that it looked somewhat like a 68. Just my opinion.

Thanks for posting those pics Cameron. The person I traded the knife from is someone I have known for over twenty years. He is not a Balisong collector, and would not know a model 10 from a 68 if I held a gun to his head. I remember when he bought the knife, and I know he bought it from a retailer. It has not been altered by him or me. I will try and find out where he bought it from, and Phil, if you are reading this and you want to cancel the deal and trade back, no problemo.
