Benchmade LFTi - BM760BK (large pics)

At first I was excited about this model, but I won't be buying one. For me, it's not the reported defects, but the thick American tanto blade.

I feel the same about the Gaucho -- just not into deep recurves or alluminum handles.

What I'd like to see is a Ritter Grip in M4.:cool: I'd have to buy 2.

Somebody should check out the Q.C. department and make sure everybody is awake. The 760 was going to be a "must have" benchmade for me, I'm disappointed. Nothing irks me more then off centered blades, that rub. This issue would definitley make me think twice about an internet buy with these type of QC issues.

Me too.I'm already thinking twice about this one.I hope it was just a fluke.:(

I shouldn't have to worry about this, when I'm dropping nearly two bills on it.:thumbdn:

lets try one more time.
Can the stop pin on the 760 be addjusted like on the Benchmade 913 and 912 ?

I don't think the stop pin can be adjusted on the 760, but I haven't dissasembled mine either.

Why is this an issue?

Most knives with stop pins lack this feature and the ones that I have dealt with that have adjustable stop pins are via an eccentric pin, the feature has not been very robust and resulted in a sloopy lock after some realitively minor use.

Some autos have a bolt for adjusting lock-up... degressing.
