Benchmade micro Pocket Rocket

As everyone else noted the price is outrageous. Especially with some of the Chinese micro framelocks coming in at this size with the same materials for under $100.

For 400$ this thing better walk my dog, pick up my groceries and do my taxes.
I love me some micro knives. What are the alternatives for under $100 with super steel and titanium?

I like the couple of MPRs I have and would buy one of these for a better price. I’m sorry Benchmade, you’re not getting Sebenza money from me. I passed on the Anthem too.

Order canceled, thanks everyone. Should I get the 940-1 Osborne instead or is that overpriced as well?

Now moot point, as the OP cancelled (which I approve of) but;
not a bad little knife (like several from Sieberts hand, its not shabby looking.

Its beefy though. I realize, thats the vogue but that cuts no ice with me.

A lot of dough. Too much IMO. Thats up to the individual though.

All in all, Id never pay that kind of money for that kind of knife.
Id rather have a Dragonfly for way WAY less money and as I have a DF ZDP189, Im good.

Id take a DF over the one in the OP but realize, that might not be, what the forum member is after.

There are many little Chinese made ones like from Bestech. It depends in what you consider micro. My little Spyderco Air has titanium liners and is definitely micro.

Theres the Ruike hummingbird which is certainly micro.

Massdrop had the Hummingbird for $75 a bit ago so I got one. It is tiny. I don’t know if I’ll ever actually carry it but it’s a neat one for the collection. It seems to be pretty well made too.

Here it is with a Chris Reeve Small Inkosi, not a large knife itself. The Inkosi has a 2-3/4” blade.

That rike hummingbird for 75.00 is the way to go. anodized handles, all carved up, Damascus blade,u saved 325.00 and still got a nice knife nicer than the bm...

Micro to me is under 2.5" blade. Already have the Rike Hummingbird in green, it scratched two itches at once, both getting me green ano titanium and Damasteel. My issue with most of the micro knives is that few of them have a pocket clip. I've already backed the Braza Bro in D2 for about $50, and might be getting one of the tiny Stedemon and/or Vouking framelocks, when I get the chance for one of each I'll probably get one in purple and one in green.

It seems like the market for tiny locking folders is growing, but so few of them are real quality pieces. This thread should definitely keep going talking about tiny folders though, they are so fun!

Check out MecArmy for ludicrously overpriced Chinese framelocks.

I think the history of the value of Sibert's models by BM shows they hold their high value. Most end up being highly sought after and rarely found under its retail.

Sibert is like the original fattie. This one is his latest piece. It is rich with design pedigree, Really the same knife. Evolved. If anytime, Techno copied it.

It has Sibert written all over it. Whatever it's called .That's totally a Sibert.
