Hey there everyone, I have a special one up for trade.
This is my 812HS P/E up for grabs. Any serious Benchmade nut knows what this is. In my year on the forums, I have never seen one of these for sale or trade! This one even comes with the original box (with the Spyderco patent license on the box) that is in mint shape, and an extra clip that I had from BM
I bought this at a local gun store, as they had no idea what they had (for ten years I might add) before I waltzed in and bought it. This is one of the earlier versions, as it came with the small print Parkerized "Benchmade U.S.A." clip, I had a newer Parkerized clip with the larger print sent as well, and have had that one on it for 6 months or so.
It has seen light duty, mainly used for cutting some food and boxes. There is slight wear on the blade coating, but again for you BM nuts, the BT coating holds up much better than the current BK coating. There is also a small crack in the Delrin backspacer (which unfortunately was there when I bought it) but I have talked to Benchmade's CS and they said they could replace it free of charge.
If you dont know about M2HS steel, the HRC from BM was quoted at 60-62Rc. While being so hard, it has high ductility, as it never chips... I had cut through a box with it, hit a staple, and didn't even phase the edge. It is very easy to sharpen, takes a razor edge, and holds it for a very long time. this steel was offered by BM for a very short time as it was hard to work with from what I have understood. This is a steel that is in high demand, but wont be used again! The same can be said for the Mini AFCK, highly sought after, but never to be made again.
This is a fantastic knife, but due to my cursed addiction to CRK and Busse, I hunger for more, and this guy has been just sitting in the safe for the last 5 months
. I know there is someone out there who has been dying for one of these, and hopefully they have what I'm looking for.

I am currently on a Strider binge, as I havent had the pleasure of owning one yet (and I have been especially rabid for one since I got scammed by the Saudi dude who offered me an SnG)........ But I am looking for all things Busse or CRK....USERS PREFERRED!!!!!! I'll be happy to add funds for the right knives!!!!!
