  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Benchmade Mini Griptilian. I think it's too small.

I thought the mini was a bit small to but I put some wilkins grips on it and now it never leaves my pocket! plus they fit perfectly in your coin pocket which I really enjoy.

I carry the mini to DC which has a <3" law to protect the sheeple. Other than that, I also prefer a larger EDC. But I love the weight of both the mini and the full.

I dont care much for mini versions of any knife, so I agree with the op haha. The regular size grip fits my hand well but I prefer a larger 3.75"-4.25" or so blade for edc, more comfortable ergos and more cutting power gets the job done quicker for what I use knives for.

I can see how some people would feel the mini grip is too small but I can also see why people love this knife. I I think it could be a great blade for certain tasks but its defintely something i personally wouldnt EDC.

And some think the adamas is too big, everyone has their idea of what the right size for EDC is. That's why we have lots of different knives and sizes to choose from

I just sent back a Benchmade Sequel for the same reason. I love everything about that knife except the size. I felt really cramped when trying to get to the thumbstud to open it.

I carried a mini-grip for several years exclusively and I like it, but I finally decided that it was a bit small for me and now everything I carry is around the 3.5" mark. My PM2 is about the smallest knife that I carry, and today I'm carrying a new Military.

The reason I like a bigger knife has to do more with the handle than with the blade. I like a big enough handle that I can hold onto it, the minigrip is a bit small for me to reliably hold onto it. My current minimum would be just over 3.25" blade.

I love the blade size (2.91") because it's legal in so many jurisdictions. These 3", 3.1", and 3.25" knives drive me crazy; they're illegal and add minimal functionality.

The half-liner's on the Full-size Griptillian may actually increase the knife's overall durability by minimizing stress placed on the pivot (they will flex before the pivot breaks), while still providing strength to the lock mechanism.
