Another great knife from Benchmade in collaboration with the NRA and Warren Osborne. Features a 154CM blade and Anodized Aluminum scales. Plain edges are now in stock.

Benchmade NRA 12800 Gaucho

Even though BM does ok photos, they just don't look real. Almost computer generated. Any chance of getting a real photo of the plain edge? That blade shape is wicked... almost a tanto... I'd like to see it better.

Thanks.

As soon as we finish packing today's orders I'll get a pic up for you. Also, I noticed the other day you were looking for a pic of the William Henry Spire in the hand, I'll see what I can do there as well.

Here's another pic of the 12800. Jaiden your pic of the Spire is located in the thread you requested it in. :)

Shoot Justin,
Thanks for the rundown on the Gaucho! Not many people chatting about these but you got my attention. I think it is so unusual--yet still a classic Osborne. The blade is recurved yet the point is unique. It's is faintly reminiscent of a Tanto, but cleaner. It has a long swedge and appears to have a delicately curved spine. The cross curved grooves in the scales are handsome.

Now, you listed the weight as "1.23oz." Now can that be?--unless it is linerless. The 942 is listed as 2.9oz (82gm) and it is roughly the same size even the though the blade is a tad shorter. Anyway, for a special ed., numbered, at that price I had to, had to, order one.

You're correct, the Gaucho is much closer to 3oz. than the previously listed weight. These were the specs I received from Benchmade, so I'll have to give them a call. ;)

Plain edges have sold out, serrated blades (satin and BT2) are now in stock.
