Has anyone here had the opportunity to try out the new Benchmade Offsider?
Thanks for any information.
 
I have a BM 10520 Offsider (First Production Run), and I LIKE IT! Since it's a "fighter", and I haven't been in any knife-fights since I received it, I haven't really tried it out or used it. I've held it quite a bit and went through some "drills" with it, and it feels excellent in the hand (although the handle "scales" could be just a tad thicker for my large hands).

As with all the Benchmade knives I've had, this one is very sharp, and the grinds are excellent. The sheath is also good, but I wish it was set up for IWB carry.

In short, it's alot of knife for the price.
 
Thank you for the input, I have somewhat larger hands and I don’t like it when a handle seems too thin. From what little I’ve heard it seems to be a lot of knife for the money. I don't as of yet own any Benchmade knives. Did you choose the silver or black blade?
