Will the Omega Spring for the Axis Lock on the full-size Benchmade Griptilian and on the Benchmade Mini-Griptilian interchange? Are the springs the same size knife to knife?

I'm not sure about the 551 vs 556, but between my 556 and 520 the 520 has much bigger omega springs

I know that there are different sizes of omega springs for different models, so unless someone else chimes in, aquamans approach is the easiest way to find out.

I have a BM 707 Sequel and a few 710s and the omega springs do not interchange - so there are different sizes. Since you're located in the US, I'd just give Benchmade a call and ask...
What's the occasion to think about it?

//edit: ok, i shouldn't just open a bunch of threads and read one by one or should at least refresh them before replying ;)

Take the scales off one side of each.

T-6 Torx I believe.

I don't take my knives apart even for cleaning; however, it looks like that might be the road I'll have to take but I'll give Benchmane a call this week to see what they say.

Thanks for the replys guys.

What brought this up is that I found a full-size Griptilian with the point broken off and the handles broken as if someone had run over it at the range and I took the Omega Springs out of it for spares. Then I got to wondering if the springs would also fit the mini-Griptilian.

If you don't take the knives apart, it doesn't matter. :D
