Both are great knives and those that are pushing one hard over the other are not being fair (IMHO).

The T2's blade is one of the best in a production knife and will cut all day without losing it's edge. I don't find that to be true with the 710. Also, a well designed and executed liner lock is as strong and as safe as any Axis lock. The T2 has such a lock. I've also had some problems with dirt getting into an Axis lock. Liner locks will also be affected but they are not as sensitive to dirt in the Axis locking system. Also, the T2 has a much better grip and if you are going to use the knife for extended periods, it will be much more comfortable than the 710, especially if the clip is removed and the knife carried in a belt pouch.

I suppose that it sounds like I'm voting for the T2. Not so. It's just that so many have praised the 710 that I just wanted to toss in my 2 cents sense I am the happy owner of both of these fine knives. Either will serve you well.

Regards

Have T2 - original titanium liners. Great blade, lousy liner lock. Bought C/F T1 - Piece of junk!!

T2 alternate - BM 426 Gravitator - A little bit too cool for an old Fart - but i love mine.

T1 alternate - BM 14210 HK - Fantastic machined G10 scales + Axis lock. Allmost as good as my small Sebenza;I said allmost.

Both BM's in 454 CM steel - There's no such as a perfect women either !

I was thinking about getting a second 710 later this year myself, excellent choice great knife, with good balance.

Jeez, Lone Wolf must have some QC issues, because I've got a T-2 I carry almost every day, and it's great. Good blade, locks up solid and the cocobolo scales are beautiful. the only issue is a finish issue(the fit is superb). The edges of the titanium liners look a little rough, almost as if they were lacquered and there are drips and runs on the edges. I know that's not what it is, but that's what it looks like. I love my Lone Wolf.

I have a Lone Wolf Harsey T1 in rosewood on my wishlist. I've heard great things about the knife, but I've also heard about a lot of QC issues with Lone Wolf knives too.

Seems to me like the QC issues have been addressed by Lone Wolf, and the bad stories about their knives come mostly from the same group of people who had an older batch of knives.

Reminds me of all the stories about S30V chipping when in actuality it was more like a small group of people who posted their experiences multiple times, no fault to them of course. I'm willing to take the "risk" on a Lone Wolf though, they have great designs

I just bought ,[and returned], a poor quality Lone wolf knife first marketed in 5/07!
So it seems as though the 'new' ones aren't doing any better.
I know I won't take another chance on them. Too bad, it was a really cool little knife until it started coming apart.
