Benchmade OTF knife

Heretic gets my vote! But I do love my shootout!
I looked at the Heretic and it is more than the benchmade and a single action. I have several OTF knifes including a few of the cheap Taiwan made Lightnings. I bought those 17 years ago when I was visiting my brother in Charleston SC. They had them at a flea market by the boxs for $10 bucks each. I bought several. then the price kept going up, as they were very good knives for the money. I still have mine. But I wanted one really nice OTF.

Heretic offer double action mostly, heck I wasn't even aware they have single action. And yeah, most of them are similar/more than the Infidel, but they're far better made. The owner or Heretic is actualy the son of Tony Marfione (Microtech) so if you noticed a similarity it's not coincidence.

Check out Guardian Tactical, again US company, by far the smoothest OTF I've played with, apart for G&G Hawk's. Made my Ultratech feel like trash in comparison. They should be about $100 less than the Infidel judging by EU pricing.

Has anyone recommended taking a look at Kershaws new OTF?

I'm not an otf guy but after a few youtube videos of it next to microtechs, and at its 240 ish price point with a nice shaped magnacut blade. It's got me considering dipping my toes into the OTF 'Merica waters

I got the shootout yesterday. the action is a bit gritty. Maybe a bit of oil will make it a bit smoother.

I blew it out and put some gun butter on the switch. Seemed to smooth it out a bit but using it a bit I am sure will smooth up the friction parts.

If you decide you want to add an Infidel, I have one, NIB. I’d let it go for $390 delivered.
Let me know if you want it.

You assume facts not in evidence. What I can afford is not material. I would not be asking about a $500 knife if I could not afford one. But one who tosses money out the window without thinking is a fool waiting for someone to take his money. I can afford a 10k knife but would not pay that for any knife. So you non answer was no help.
Of course it was no help.

You want a better price and expect others to give you a map to find it.

'I can afford a 10k knife but would not pay that for any knife.' makes me think you're trolling.
