How long have you had it like this, and how does the M4 steel hold up against rust?

I'm thinking a couple years. The picture is an old one. Although, I haven't had problems with rust. It doesn't patina/stain that easily either. I have quite a few knives in rotation, so it doesn't get carried all that much. I have a bunch of M4 , benchmades are all coated of course. The spyderco manix M4 hasn't rusted on me, but my Gale Bradley did develop rust spots around the pivot behind the scale. Perhaps I let some pickle juice or something linger in there

I dunno, maybe I'll just have him reshape the blade and not regrind it. Knives rust easily in the summer where I live, and I'd rather not have to worry about it. I love the black contrast with the raw steel though.
