Just back from vacation to Juneau Alaska (Wonderful place, esp if you like trees and rain!) there's a cutlery shop called Alaska Knifeworks and within they had a very clever way to sell souveneirs, and since I love my 710's couldn't resist. As they do this every year mine's marked '2013 Juneau Alaska' and here's the pics of the thing:

Thanks DJ. The blade's interesting, has the same grind as the 710-1, but in D2 not M390, and the transition from back to front is a little thicker, which I like. It's nice to have a centered and (one off due to the left side script) clean knife to remind us of our trip to Alaska.

I took about a year off from Benchmade and explored other brands but have come full circle in my collecting.
Scored two outstanding knives this week and plan on adding more in the coming months.

And what a way to come back! Those are two outstanding knives!

The Contego is my personal favorite among currently available production knives. A real standout on many levels as I'm sure you will discover.

Congratulations!

Wow! didn't know I had anything to do with it but I'll take the credit!

Great knife that will serve you well. Very glad you got one.

Enjoy!
