I just picked up the full size version second hand (brand new on second hand market,.given that this model has been discontinued)
Its probably not going to be your "one and only" knife you'd use for every day carry or use,.but given its beefy tank like build,.it'll absolutely fulfill that category of "Folder built like a Sheath Knife".
If you ever wanted a folder that was every bit as solid as a full tang sheath style blade,.this would def be the one.
The mini-rukus is cool,..but if you're in need of a tank-like folder,.go with the full size.
Check one out in person if you at all can,.its beefier than it looks from online photos.

They are hard to find nowadays. Few people are parting with them, especially brand-new-in-box versions.
If you're buying one of these, you probably own a few knives already,.and in that regard, you'll have other knives you can wear for EDC. Not to say you couldnt do that with a full size Rukus,..but you might get odd looks from an occasional person who thinks you're "that weird knife carrying guy with a huge pocket knife"
Its chunky,.but its size is half the reason you'd buy it in the first place.
If you needed a folder that you could depend on for anything anywhere, no matter what,.this would absolutely do it.
Its the kinda piece you pass on in your will to a lucky younger relative,.hehe!
