Benchmade service,Id say bad

Ive sold all my Cold Steel knives because the Ba$t@rd$ would never return my emails and im not talking a few but at least a dozen over a month.Well ive contacted BM a few times now also and I guess they dont see me as important enough to return my emails either.The only good service ive had is with CRKT.Ive read another comment about someone who returned a knife to be sharpend to BM only to have it returned dull.Ill have some BMs up for trade if anyone is interested go to the trade forum,thanks.
 
I don't know where you live. . . . .but did you try calling them ?
 
I sent a Nimravus into BM for a defective sheath. They not only replaced the sheath but refurbished the whole knife . It was just like new when I got it back. I'll never complain about Benchmade's service>

It's very common for companies not to answer emails. I don't know why. You just need to call them. Take care.
 
I once sent them a 941 that had been used to cut a live extension cord. There were two big chunks taken out of the blade by the electricity arcing. Most certainly NOT a warranty repair. The replaced the blade and returned the knife to me at no charge. Call Benchmade service. You'll probably get Angie on the phone. Angie rocks!

I did call them and they were very helpful.They said they usually always answer emails also so I dont know what happened.They also sent me an email so we know its working.They did answer my question and seemed very nice.I guess email just aint what everyone has made it out to be.

I've never had any problems getting my E-mails returned either!!!!! Reconsider giving them a 2nd chance. :cool:
 
Companies like Benchmade can get hundreds of emails in a single day. Give their customer service number a call: 1-800-800-7427

Agreed. She provides an exceptional level of service, and has done so for me on several times (returning emails included). Something went wrong here that was an exception, not the rule. :confused:
 
You'll never find better customer support than from Angie at Benchmade. I deal with her regularly, and Angie is one of the nicest people to talk with, and she ALWAYS takes great care of me. She's not always available when you call but she always gets back to me.

There are companies out there that are not at all helpful...Benchmade is not one of them.
 
If you knock Benchmade again, I'll have to ban you...(Just kidding...:D.:D.).

But by all means, give Angie a call...She'll see to it that your problem is taken care of, pronto.
 
I have talked to customer service and after that got an email reply and was very pleased with both.Answered my questions to the tee and very willing to help!I ended up trading my entire Cold Steel collection because of terrible service so thats why the hostility but other than lost emails I guess I was mistaken about BM.
