Benchmade Skirmish 630BK or Zero Tolerance 0300?

I doubt that you could go wrong with either knife but my choice would be the Skirmish. I bought mine within the first month or so that it first came out and it's still in my top three knife EDC rotation. Like many of you I've bought a lot of folders since then and it's saying something for it to still be one of my favorites.

This knife has seen a lot of use and I have had no problems whatsoever. It took a day or so of handling it to perfect the opening and closing of the knife but now it feels as natural as can be. I used loctight on the pivot screw once I adjusted it to exactly where I wanted it and it opens and closes as smoothly as the day I bought it. I've had no problems at all with any chipping and I've used the Skirmish to open hundreds and hundreds of boxes. In my business I receive packages everyday and even when I hit a staple by mistake I've never damaged the blade.

For such a large knife it is comfortable to carry in your front pant pocket. This is probably why some in this discussion have called it a gentleman's folder (only due to the ease of carry).

Good luck, I hope whichever knife you buy works well for you.
