Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have traded on these forums (a couple of years!) and I'm getting back into the "hobby/addiction" so what better place to go?
I have some eBay feedback but I cannot find any of my old trading activity on this forum.
Anywho... I just picked up a couple of production folders to check out what's on the market and the 630bk was one of the blades I purchased. I bought it brand new and have had it for about 4 days now. The knife has not cut a thing, not even paper. I flicked it open a few times and it went right back in the nylon sleeve and in the box.
This model has the black plain edged blade and the grayish Ti scales with some decoratively placed milled holes (no anodizing).
I am very impressed with the quality of materials and finish on a knife in this price range. The knife opens like butter but with authority. Lock-up is tight and the blade is spot on center when closed. Not a darn thing wrong with it, just way too big for me.
I'm willing to trade up or down, plain edged knives only. To give a better idea of what I may be interested in, I recently purchased a Benchmade Dejavoo, Spyderco Para-Military and a CRK Small Sebbie, and all are right in the size range of what I'm looking for. I might also consider Case XX knives. I really am interested in Spyderco/Benchmade knives <3.75" with a basic blade style, nothing extreme. Lightly used - NIB would be preferred. Im not looking to sell the knife at this time.
Thanks!
