benchmade suggestions?

I would suggest a 550 Griptillian. It has a strongly built blade for heavy duty cutting, and it's not too pointy, which is good in a utility knife. It has a very good grip (As the name would suggest) so it won't slip out of your hand. It also has the axis lock, which is another plus. The best thing about the knife is its low price, $60-$70. But, if you like balisongs, I suggest the 42. It has the strongest lock of any folding knife, and many uses other than cutting. I've used mine to whack the ice in my freezer when it's all stuck together, and I use the holes for prying up nails. The 42 is the best folding knife I've ever owned. However, your state laws might not allow you to carry it.

710hs The best folder BM has made. This is the most useful and versatile knife I own. The AFCK is a great knife, but no liner lock beats an Axis. Really all the Axis locks are great knives, but the 710 has the longest and best blade shape, and is the only one currently offered in M2. If you can wait a while (I don't know how long a while is) you can get a 730 w/CF scales & a M2 blade! But if you want one now, you just can't beat the 710hs.

I like the 710 also. The AFCK had too thin a tip for me to use hard,I know it's not a screwdriver, prybar, scraper ect.I also know people will use what they got on hand to get the job done. The 710 will get the job done.
