Benchmade threatens Rogue Bladeworks to stop making Bailout scales

Didn’t someone say Benchmade donates to a particular leaning and it isn’t “right”? I need to dig that up. Not here, though. Maybe in PA if I find it.

Benchmade was lobbying in favor of some public land bills at the state and federal level, along with Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. They were very upfront about their support for certain bills on their social media, and those bills just happened to be majority sponsored by one party. They did make donations to people from both parties, but that often gets overlooked.

Also, Benchmade is around the corner from their county courthouse, sheriffs and corrections center. They were probably the closest machine shop to where the guns were being stored. Yet people act like they were marching up to everybody's houses and stealing their guns while burning the Constitution on their lawn. They're literally just objects. Chill out.

It’s not a matter of a $50 piece of equipment, it’s a matter of personnel trained to operate it in a unionized, safety conscious workplace.

Apparently Benchmade hate is illogical in all forms.
It is actually a matter of a 50 dollar piece of equipment, sorry it's not high skilled labor. Anyone can use one, apparently every other department in America can do it, but Portland is somehow super special?

You can say "illogical" all you want, doesn't change that Benchmade has made some horrible pr moves in the last few years that doesn't help them with perception either earned or misconstrued.

No, you chill. I don’t care what the politics are for Benchmade leadership, but if they want to play in that arena they can be prepared to suffer the consequences of the bad optics.

Me? I think the greatest travesty is paying hundreds of dollars for a knife they seem to QA/QC by throwing a dart at a board.
