I picked this up recently after wanting to try a Wilkins Grip for a long time. I carried it a few days, and I love the scales. It feels like a completely different knife that the regular Griptilians. However, this mini version is a little too small for me.

The blade is D2 tool steel, which in my opinion is an upgrade over the standard 154CM. It is plain edge and coated. I don't know if it was sharpened previously, but I have sharpened it to take a couple nicks out of the tip. It will slice paper & shave arm hair with ease.

The Wilkins scales are black G10. I took them apart to clean and lube everything when I got the knife, and everything is in great working order. A previous owner stripped a screw at one point & had to gouge the scales to get it out. This is visible in the pictures. The current screw is not stripped. In addition to the gouge, there is another light scratch which is also visible in the pictures. None of this impacts the function of the knife. Please note that the original scales are not included.

Here are a few pictures:

If you've been wanting to try out a Mini Wilkins Grip, this is a great chance. The scales sell for about $150 without a blade, and the knife lists for over $100. I'm selling this one for $160 *SOLD*. That includes any paypal fees and insured priority mail in the US. USPS money orders are fine if you don't want to use paypal. International shipping is no problem, but we'll have to discuss the details & cost beforehand.

I'll also consider trades for plain edge folders, new or used.

Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
