I have two 9 1/2 " Benchmade Bougesk( not spelled right) Spikes that I bought new in the early 1990s. They both have black handles, and say Benchmade with the butterfly and ATS-34 on the front and Bougesk design on the back. The two have never been carried and have been in storeage all these years. What price range are they worth today? I got them in a trade back then and I have a value I can put on them, but I recall the retail for them back then was around $100 each. Has that increased? Are they currently in production?

I also have two Benchmade AFO's that were obtained from Barry Adams in the early 1990s with the numbers #10 and #38 ( or #34 I have to check)...they are also unused. Any idea as to their value. Thanks !!!!!

From what I've seen on the trade/ for sale forums and elsewhere, the Spikes go for about $120.00 to 150.00. Sorry, but I've no idea about the AFO's.

Thanks Hateman...I don't follow the value on these too often. I figured with all the Benchmade owners out there I would have a few answers by now....where are you guys in the know??????

Thanks !!

Thanks DaveH I just tried the site and I am not a member so I could not go into all areas, but I will look at more tonight....I am just tring to get a price mostly on the Spikes as I had not planned on selling them but some one wants them and I truly don't know their present value....Thanks to all who offer their opinion .....

If you've got an ID at Ebay you can search past auctions to see what they went for. Not always the most accurate indicator but it can give you some reference. Also, there's a forum member here by the name JD Spydo who's keen on the Spike models. If you send him a PM he'd probably chat with about what he's seen for current value.

BTW, the Spikes are no longer in production.

Thanks for the info.....anymore ??

Yes, the designer's name is Boguszewski. Though I'd help you out if you decided to list them.:D

Models that are like new in the box recently sold for $125-165. If it's used it will be worth considerably less.

Sometimes I wonder how these Necro threads get found in the first place. I mean 6 years old?

No kidding -- I wonder the same thing sometimes too. People wandering across them while using the search function and not checking the dates before replying, maybe?
