Benchmade Warn

thanks for the review now I'm torn between the plain and black versions

I like the contego but it's a little out of the price range I am looking for anywhere from 90-120 dollars

I've got mine preordered at about 120 dollars

what about the benchmade lum onslaught I know the blade is thin but does the awesomeness outweigh the thiness of the blade

If this is directed towards me, I can't say, I have never even held one.

I do want to make it clear, that I am not saying all thin blades are bad. Just I felt like the BM Warn was poorly designed

BTW have you thought about the BM 275 Adamas? You mentioned in another post that you wanted a solid feeling knife, and the 275 is about as solid as it gets

thanks for the tip I actually really like that adamas now and f the sheath I likes me a big pocket knife

I'm also eyeing down the Ontario retribution I have the urge to buy a big ol' jackknife for some reason

I'm kinda shocked you didn't have several back up knives on hand, you've been here since 08 and have over 1K post, whats up how are you immune to the addiction?

I do it's just I don't have a lot under 10 and each one I put a lot of thought and time into before buying and my ET was my most fun knife but my true EDC is a cold steel ak47 with the axis lock

Did you mention the 275BK Adamas? Now, that's a real pocket knife! Here it is next to my previous definition of a stout AXIS lock, my 610 Rukus:

The D2 blade on my 275BK came uniformly scarey sharp - and has lasted quite well, thus far. It's great balance & handfit have it joining my other Sibert design, a 755 MPR, as an EDC. I just don't care for the D2 blade, mainly because it is a devil to re-sharpen - to me. YMMV. Not fond of the new Warn.

Man i wish benchmade still made the Rukus. That thing is a beast.

i have sharpened d2 before on my strop. i own a blind horse knives bushcrafter and that comes in D2 with a convex edge so i bought a strop with it if that helps any

but man that adamas is really growing on me worse than my beard
