Benchmade Warranty rocks!!

Sent in my BEAT and I mean beat up 940 (one of the first good knives I purchased many years ago). All the scale screws had backed out, I epoxied one scale hole shut because I couldn't find a replacement screw, edge was gone, pivot screw backed out after a handful of openings. This knife was shot. Sent it off to Benchmade, not expecting anything at all other than maybe a sorry Charlie, your knife is DOA. I get it back this morning with all new scales, back spacer, and a with a full tune up, washers, springs, the works. Except for the scratches on the blade from my free hand sharpening this baby looks NEW! And they even sharpened it for free, and with a seven day turnaround! Thank you Benchmade!! I only have the one, but I will be buying more Benchmade's from here on! Your Warranty rocks!
 
Good to hear. I have to send a AFCK in for what seems to be a bad liner. The clip screws aren't able to grab anything for tip up or tip down, they just spin freely. :grumpy:
 
I had a similar experience, sent in my well used (EDC for 4 years) 750 with 100% lockup and blade play. It came back with on play and sharpened. Total cost $10 for insured shipping to them, they covered repairs and shipping back! Good people to deal with for sure.
 
While it wasn't beat up, I bought an Aphid last year at a gun show and discovered later that the blade wasn't centered. BM appeased my anal nature and made it right.

+1 on their customer service and warranty.
