I know Benchmade has been taking a lot of flak over their enforced MAP pricing, but I have to say that their warranty service is nothing short of awesome. 8 days after I mailed a knife for repair, it's on my doorstep all fixed up, for just the cost of me shipping it to them. This is how warranty service should be done! The only other company I know of that's this quick is GEC. So, regardless of their outrageous prices, I will continue to buy Benchmade (at least occasionally when they come out with an interesting new pattern..... or bring some of the old loved ones back).
