im posting here because i feel general knife discussion makes better threads. what the difference between the black and blue class of knives

Black class is more tactical/professional, blue class is edc oriented. Not much actual difference though

Black class is supposed to be purpose driven, and designed for specific professions. At least that's how I understand it.

Black Class is marketed towards the LE, military, and mall-ninja crowd..

Blue Class is marketed towards general public, EDC users..

It is marketing. Look at the actual merits of the individual knives to suite your needs.
