I've got a handful of knives I'm looking to trade. I don't have anything particular in mind, but I like plain edge folders. Here's what I've got:
Customs
Aaron Frederic persian. It has never been used, carried, or sharpened. It has damascus bolsters and wood scales. The blade is approximately 3" long, and the overall length is right at 7-1/2". As with all of Aaron's this is smooth opening and well made. *WITHDRAWN*
Next up is a dual action Thomas Vallotton Hummingbird. This one has been carried, used, and sharpened. It is still in great shape. Manually, it is smoother than any knife I've ever owned. It also has a scale release. The blade on this one is 3", and the overall length is 7-1/2". *TRADED*
More Vallotton pictures here.
Last up is a Lightfoot 460 Mag. It is on the large side, with a 3-3/4" chisel ground blade. I believe the scales are micarta & the bolsters are titanium. The backspacer looks to be burgundy micarta. This one has been used, carried, and sharpend. It is still in good condition. However, the lock-up on it isn't as solid as it should be. It does lock up, and it hasn't disengaged on me, but it doesn't feel like a typical Lightfoot lock. I have contacted Greg, and he will do a refurb for $75. The chisel grind isn't for me, so even I send it in, I'd be putting it up for sale or trade after it came back. Thought I'd see if anyone wanted it before I sent it off. *GONE*
