Yeah, the handle geometry is all over the place. If the main swell was about an inch back and that hook wasn't there, it'd be received MUCH better by the bushcrafting community. I've been battling the moral issue of just Dremeling the bejesus out of it and making it "mine" :confused:

I've had FOUR presidios for EDC -- I'm shopping for an infidel but KEEP clicking on presidio "for sale"ads. I bought an original benchmade spike in 1997 and been a benchmade fan ever since.
 
Lost my first two. A 530 and a 3550. I’ve sold a 15016-1, 940-1, and a 3150BK.

Got the REI 531 as a suitable replacement for the lost 530.
Wasn’t crazy about the 940-1, but find myself wanting a 940-1701.

I’m envious of you guys that stacked the Ritters deep. I’ve got a mini in s30v but am lusting for one in DLCM4 or m390. The search continues.:D

I think I'm up to 3 or 4 AFCK's. Buy em, give them to sons or sell them.
 
556 is the only one im able to buy again. There's some others that i wish i would've held on to.
Waiting on my custom shop one to come in:)
All black 20cv with royal blue handles.
 
On my third Valet. The specs keep drawing me back, but small handle eventually causes me to trade it away.
