Has anyone had any problems with knives you have ordered from Benchmadestore.com? I think I received a knock off from them. I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks

Not even remotely legitimate.

This one is especially amusing.

Sorry you got ripped off. Remember - if it's too good to be true, it probably is. And ask us first.

Yup, I got burned two years ago as a noob. Run!

Edit: If they're still around see if they'll do a return. IIRC, the site that scammed me was actually doing returns until they got shut down.

I'm guessing your package either has Chinese writing on the labels, or there's labels from sort of logistics shipping hub covering up the original labels, and it took a couple weeks minimum to arrive. I thought maybe they were importing counterfeits and selling them (for more, yet still cheaper than the real thing) and shipping from here, but given they estimate 10-22 days for shipping, they're undoubtedly coming from China or somewhere else overseas.

Guangdong, specifically. At least that's where the domain is registered.

It's amazing that this site has been up for as long as it has. For a scam site, it's surprisingly well made. I thought I accidentally clicked on BM's actual site at first.

How bad is the knockoff? Anyone else receive anything from them?

There's no way to read that sentence that isn't creepy. Obsessed with touching our homes? Every part of our hearts? Are they threatening to rub knives on our walls? o_O

The thought of them obsessed with rubbing their knives around my toilet bowl almost sounds Voodooish 😱!

There are so many red flags on that site. No phone numbers, 20-30 day shipping times, ridiculously low prices, etc.

they spent more on a marketing guy than they did their entire inventory

What about MPS-Outfitters.com? Has anybody used them? I chatted with Benchmade and the guy said he thinks they're a licensed dealer. I've called and emailed for over a week and got no response. Just curious about other people's dealings. Thanks.

If they can't return a call or answer an email...they don't get my business
