Benchmark Switchblade???

Have a knife stamped Benchmark. Has a button that you push and the blade pivots out of the handle and locks. I want to sell the knife but don't know if it is legal to sell the thing on Ebay. Have heard that switchblades are illegal to mail. any answers.

Ebay does not allow the sale of automatic knives.
U.S. Federal law prohibits the mailing across state lines unless to LEO or active duty MIL.

True. However, you could sell to someone in the same state, provided your state does not have it's own prohibitions against selling/transferring switchblades.

Yes.

No issues in Georgia or FL that I know of, but as stated once it goes across a state line a federal statute has been broken.

also NEVER send it via the USPS !!! Even intra state is illegal for the USPS....
