Benchmite Review Needs

I just got the Benchmite Black version today. It is a very beautiful knife. It has a very strong look. Solid lock up with the sound 'Twang' when it open or lock. A bit heavy though.

Do not know when will this black stuff. I will let you guys know once it burned in.

I mean the Black coat. The BP1 coating is coat all the way of the balde, including hte edge.

From their website, it mentioned that this BP1 coating is very hard. So I am not sure , if I sharpen it, will it make a lot of wear to my sharpener?

Anyone have any idea?

Hi group. This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing it right.
I just bought a Benchmite, and to make it a little easier to "flick" open, I took a little metal off the tip of the little locking pin with a stone. Now it "flicks" very easily.
