can you convert a benchmade benchmite to an auto benchmite? any info on the procedure would be much apreciated.

Yes - The benchmite is universal - but you need to take the backspring out of a model 3100 or other benchmite auto. Get a Blue box from benchmade (about 20$ with shipping)and the rest is preatty straight forward. I converted my model 310 titanium benchmite from a 3100 - but be warned, this voids both warrenties!

this is old but does anyone have any info on this like how to convert it where to buy the springs etc?
