benefits of scandi compared to full flat grind

It completely depends on execution-blade materials, heat treat, angle of the grind, thickness of the blade, etc. Scandis are super easy to sharpen-you just lay your stone flat against the grind, and it's hard to mess up. If the grind is too fine, it will be prone to rolling, but for the most part a quality high carbon scandi is an extremely high performance slicer. I find them very efficient for battoning too, though some consider the grind too fragile to use for rough use. I definitely prefer scandis.
