Thanks for looking

on_the_edge,

I also have these listed for sale (in the sale forum), as for busse knives...I'm more into outdoor working blades and EDC.

Sent some pics via email of some trade offers. Let me know if you did not get them--thanks

I have a serial numbered, bare steel (not hard chromed) Made Dog Voodoo Hound with both slip and ATAK sheaths and original plastic marked bag from MD. It's brand new condition. An awesome blade and very collectible. The bare steel knives are beautiful and show off the temper line really well. It's worth $1000 to $1100. I'll trade it for the Benelli + $400 as long as the Benelli hasn't been shot very much and is like new. I'll need to know how much use the Benelli has seen. Thanks, let me know.

Pete

a BG42 large plain Sebenza + cash
a Remington 1100 + cash (I've owned it for 20+ years)
a Roger Massey 52100 M.S. bowie for gun + cash
a Murray Carter large camp knife + cash

Pete

AV8R,

The Benelli has about 200 rds fired through it, I shot two rounds of sporting clays. I don't think there is a scratch on it, I'll check. Even with the shims I just couldn't get it to fit me right...otherwise it wouldn't be here.

Please send some pic's of your offers to my email, thanks.

That is a very rare Voodoo Hound indeed - I think you've valued it very fairly.

Thanks a lot for the input.

Motionman:

Parker is a longtime Mad Dog collector and an expert on values of Mad Dog knives. So, this should give you some confidence in the value of the knife. With the original labeled plastic from Mad Dog and 2 original sheaths (made to the specific knife), this one is as new as it gets. I'll email a picture of the knife today. Gun + $400 for the VDH. Thanks,

Pete

Motionman:

If a nice, big, classic bowie from a leading ABS Mastersmith is more your speed, here's a link to the knife. It has a couple VERY slight spots on the blade, as 52100 is prone to do. Roger would remove them if you desired. I never thought it was worth it, but I'll leave you extra $$ in the deal to send it to him, if you choose. Your gun + $250 for the Massey and that's a smokin' deal. The knife comes with original sheath. Grinds, fit, finish...are fantastic.

I'm a Benelli lover, so you've got the right guy here making good offers. Thanks and let me know,

Pete

With the nice big ironwood handle and the name on the 52100 blade, this bowie will steadily appreciate as it sits on the shelf. I've sold lesser Massey bowies for $1200. Bowies are a little soft right now (but that will change), so you can sometimes find a good opportunity out there. Such as this one.

Serial numbered, minty fresh and new, awesome satiny finish. The bare steel knives are Kevin's best looking...
