Ben's Donation Knife - 06/03/14

Mr. Roy, I'm not much on religion but I cant help but think you'll be blessed for such generosity & kindness. It's very sad to think of a child at such a young age, born into this world completely innocent and having to fight, it really is.

How would one make a donation? Normal PayPal but mention "Ben" in the description?

This is so wonderful of you Andy, and crew! You guys just never cease to amaze me in all of the things you do.
 
Just getting back home and catching up on the forum chatter. This is really cool of you to do Andy, no doubt it will make a great impact. I look forward to participating with the cause. And BTW, both of those were beautiful, wish I saw them earlier, but everyone is so quick!

Now that picture rips my heart out. It brought tears to my eyes. What joy in his face!!!

If you do something like this again, you should make it an auction.

We talked about doing this auction style, but didn't want to make it overly complicated. What are your thoughts?

One idea was to say whoever is highest bidder within the first 30 posts (or whatever the # is) gets the knife. This helps contain it and keep it manageable. We weren't sure but are happy to evolve it, also happy to put them up for sale like we did, which is nice and simple.

Thanks for the heads up.......since you mentioned a regular batch for next week does that mean there will be a Fiddleback Friday sale on the 6th or will the next one be on the 13th due to Blade Show ?

In last week's FF thread Ken stated there will be a FF on the 6th.
