Bent *edit, Broke* the beard on a Rattlehawk

Another option: engrave a serial number on it, something that the Swamp can record should someone try to warranty the knife again. They could link that serial number to a new sale-price so that they can still offer a lifetime shop-credit warranty and if the tool fails in some other unexpected way (e.g. the head jumps off - not likely) they can offer the owner a discount at the price they resold the original "blemished" hawk at.

All I'm saying is, why let such a good hawk go to waste? If no one at the Swamp is using it, I'll happily take it off their hands, even pay the shipping :) If they'll warranty it against further failure, I'll pay more than shipping ;)
