Bent tips

Does anyone have an easy way to straighten tips that get bent? I have a couple of knives that have been dropped on hard surfaces and have had the tip knocked out of alignment. Anyone know what you can do to fix that, or is it more trouble than it`s worth?

Thanks.

I had a bent tip before.

I just bent it back carefully with some pliers and sharpened it to hide some of the damage.

Steve,

Depends who made the knives.

I managed to "sling" a Spydie Wegner straight into a solid marble floor. It was ugly, to say the least. I sent the knife to Spyderco, and they fixed it. Even sent a letter explaining "abuse is not covered". But they still fixed it!!
