I was just looking at a Beretta fixed blade knife that looked alot like a Fallkniven H1. The blade was marked kinda like the Fallkniven's, football shaped and in the same place. I believe it said on the blade it was Loveless designed, had black zytel handle and the blade was marked SEKI Japan. Which brings up another question Ive been meaning to ask. I think I've seen some Fallkniven knives advertised as made in Japan????
Are some made there?
If so are they any good?
Are the Berettas any good.
Same company??
The asking price was $49.
Thanks for your help

Just found it on a beretta web site it is a mod 205 made AUS8 Stainless. they make a drop piont with a 3 13/16" blade and 3 5/8" skinner.

I dont know about these particular knives but I do know that some good stuff comes out of Seki City.

I would just be concerned who the maker is because quality control on alot of those kinds of knives can be sketchy at best.

I picked up some Beretta Field Lights (main blade and a saw) for next to nothing on closeout, they are pretty well made considering the way I beat the snot out of it and it kept coming back for more, I have to recommned them.

I can't speak to the Beretta part of your post, but the Fallkniven line of knives is top notch. I have several, and have put them through the ringer, and they keep coming back for more. The VG-10 center with 420j2 sandwich is a winner.

Moki and Sekai are said to be contractors for Beretta. The ones I've handled were top notch:).
