Beretta pistols: questions

While I'm not a big fan of polymer anythings (and thus the PX4) I have several of the original Rotary-barreled Cougars and they've worked flawlessly. Most accurate compact 45 I've ever shot, and I'm pretty damned good with just about everything. :D

Buy a Taurus knockoff, you'll get better quality than Beretta. Just my opinion as a smith because I've worked on far too many Berettas for far too many QC issues.

I have 1/2 dozen Beretta firearms of various types including 3 92 series handguns.

The only item I've had a problem with was a thin bridge on the frame of a blued 32ACP Tomcat that is known to have this weak portion. I've seen several other similar complaints in the years I've been a Beretta owner. And in every case, they have replaced them with the INOX version of the gun that has a thicker, stronger design.

I am admittedly a fan but I don't think I'm a fanboy. I would like to hear about some of the issues you've encountered that makes you recommend staying away from Berettas.

Are we talking about a specific model or types or any Berettas in general?

Thanks

Shes seen a lot of action and before she was my comp gun that was my duty gun..and before it was my duty gun it went through the academy....she was all stock until I turned her into a comp gun.. sub 2 pound trigger in single action, custom ported barrel, grips imported from Italy, tungsten carbide guide rod, extended mag release, welded trigger bar to take up the slack, single sided"G Thing"(you will understand if your on the Beretta forum)

I did all the work my self I learned a lot going through a Beretta armors class these are some sweet guns I also learned a lot when I talked with David Olhasso when he was shooting for Beretta...really saddened me when he left and quit working on Beretta pistols he did a great job..
