Damn.. it's COPPER-BERYLLIUM (CuBe), not beryllium-copper.

Just got this one...Made by Barry Wood somewhere in the late 70's/early 80's

here is another with Berylium Copper -- not the best photo to really show the copper well. More I think about this I think I'll have to redo the photo as the copper is really very nice.

Love that Barry Wood. They are cool knives. I have a couple but none to compare with that stag.

That is really nice, the Stag makes it special. I have a Barry Wood with the Colt markings that he made me as a favor in the early '90s.
Wasn't Jim Hammond one of the few makers using the Berylium, also?

Hey Win, long time no see...

The Weston posted above is the first CuBe that I've seen made by anyone other than Wood.
 
Just got another one...

The top one has not been polished, the bottom one was. Within a few weeks, the polished frame will appear the same as the top one.
