Best all around Spyderco ever?

For me, two are tied for best all around: The Para, and the Dodo. If you are equiped with these two, you've got anything beat!

I've been carrying the sprint run grey handled Goddard more and more. The thing feels very ergonomic in hand for big and small cuts. The blade is a size and shape where I feel I can use it for big chores and smaller, more delicate cuts. Surprised such an unassuming knife could be so good.

The Manix. Now that i have that knife, i feel like other knives cant compete. Everything about the Manix is perfect to me. It has my favorite lock, favorite handle material, great steel, and great size.

The old C48 is it for me. As a canoest/hunter/winter camper here in the NWT I am absolutely enamored of the full size Wegner. The great ergonomics, flawless blade shape, great edge holding (ATS34) and the sensual thwack of opening has never been equaled IMO.

I have the Blade Tech versions in both 440C and S30V and a VG10 Ocelot on the way...and they are all great but nothing feels as good in my hand as the C48 Spydie Wegner (in plain edge of course).

I completely agree! Well, almost...
I like the CE for the added versatility.;)

This is the only Spydie, IMHO, that can give the C48 competition!

Man, if it only had a G10 Handle :)

I agree. Add G-10 with a thicker handle (a la the Chinook II or Manix), dual liners and notches on the thumb ramp and just maybe an S30V blade.....that thing would never leave my side.

Sweet..... but I'd go with VG-10 ;)

Calypso Jr.!!!!!! If I could get one in VG-10 and micarta scales, I'd be an even happier camper than I am already

I like the Rescue. Not the prettiest but I'll put it up against any others in a cutting competition. It has a ton of serrated blade on a flat edge.

I think that a full-size ZDP calypso with G-10 handle would fit nicely in my pocket, but that does not exist so my vote goes to the Paramillie.

Best all around - Endura or Military.

When it gets down to the bottom line...

thats all there is

Ok, well, maybe the Police...

My Native III is my favoriteand my EDC. Finally broke down and bought a black handled one after a near miss with losing my BFC Forum Knife.

I'd probably have to give my vote for favorite Spyderco to the Persian. Great steel, sharp as all getout, flawless lock up and smoothness, beefy without being bulky, and as comfortable in the hand as any folding knife I've ever owned. It's not hard to look at, either. I only wish it had an adjustment screw (a la the Ocelot), instead of a pin, so I could keep it perfectly tuned forever.

SE Delica. That was my favorite folder, until it walked off one day. I'm going to replace it with a SE Atlantic Salt, I think.

Unless I get a Manix or a Chinook II and one of them turns out to tickle my fancy more...

Peace.
