Best American Made Fixed Blades

Just Busse minus my folder...i have a well priced benchmade folder. i have the griptillian...good quality in my opinion and a decent price. good warranty...

The only other maker that interests me is Horton, just because he makes 1/2 inch thick knives! I'd pick one up, but buying one is more confusing than buying a Busse and have no idea how to pick up one of his beasts.

1/2? I need to learn about Horton. I've never heard of his knives, I dont think but I want to now :D

Fiddleback! Awesome, beautiful and affordable customs. His KPH and Bow Legged Chopper are a couple of the best designs I've seen in years.

In the near future I will be picking up an NWA and Loconico. There are alot of great makers here on the forum. Check out this outstanding review of the custom makers doing there best camp knife. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687445

I have never felt a better knife than the couple NWAs I have held. http://www.nwaknives.com/

Burt Foster, Matt Roberts, Don Fogg, K9, etc., basically any maker/manufacturer here on BF or something made from steel that is sharp and pointy has my attention.

check out his forum, awesome knives!!!

You SUCK so bad, why on earth did you have to tell me about his forum. There really are fat knives over there!!! REALLY fat knives!!!!!

Its almost 3am and I lost count how long I've been drooling over photos posted.

I know I need to broaden my horizons when it comes to knives, but every time I consider purchasing a different maker, my mind always comes back to a Busse that I don't have, and I always end up getting the Busse. Perhaps if I had more money... Nah, who am I kidding - I'd just buy more Busse's.

Those NWA's look great, congrats Norcalblacktail.

I like my Fehrman "Last Chance", CRK's Skinner, Caldwell -5 and the Becker Campanion as my favorite other than Busse!

Horton makes a top-notch, hard-use blade.

I'm also partial to Ethan Becker's knives, which are U.S. made.

My Horton...
