Best Assisted Opener design on the Market (production only)..... GO!

As much as I love kershaw knives their assisted system blows. I don't know why people say they like them. The bars break all the time.
SpeedSafe blows? Drama much? Maybe people love them cause it doesn't blow? The bars break all the time? You'd know this how?

Wow that was a lot of questions marks...:)

I really like the CRKT Ignitor series its a torsion bar but its locked till you push in on the thumb stud to open it no chance of it opening till you want it to...

Not any more drama as the people saying its the best. And yes I've had about 6 of them break on me before. A couple Blurs, Boa and a Spec Bump. So I would say that they break a lot more then any other assisted system I've used. I never had a BM break on me before. I'm sure they do every now and then, but not nearly as often.

They work fine, when they work. Like I said. I like kershaw knives, and y'all have the best customer service. I just dont think the Speed Safe system is very good.

The difference is you're the minority.

It's all good, we all can have an opinion. Your post/opinion just came as one that spoke for the masses, which of course wouldn't be accurate.

Part of me wonders what on earth is wrong with your knives. I have a Tyrade, an Offset, a TiZDP Mini Cyclone, a ZT300DW, a Ti Bump, and a Whisper. All see regular use and none has ever caused me trouble. So based on my experience, SpeedSafe is bulletproof and effective.

Do a google search or a search here and see how many others you come across that had a torsion bar break on them. Then do the same search for Benchmade or other companies and then tell me I'm the only one.

Do a search on which company brought on A/O as a actual category within the industry, which company has the most A/O's on the market, and continues to dominate A/O sales within the industry. Perhaps the reason there is more about SpeedSafe than the BM A/O's on your search's, is that there are literally millions more of our A/O's on the market?

Try to remember BM crashed the A/O party 10+ years after the first Kershaw debuted. Let's try to be realistic here SE...

If A/O's, specifically ours doesn't work for you, it doesn't work, but let's not try and justify your position with a brainless Google/BF search.

http://aoknives.com/ Dunno how they get their stats, but I think their sales stats are about right. Kershaw (Leek, Blur, others) are at the top together with SOG (Flash series, Twitch series). Throw in a few Benchmades and you've got your top 10. Of *sales* that is, not necessarily of the *best*.

Where do you find stats of these nationwide sales?
Well these type of figures are held pretty private. Well, unless you do that mindless google search. There you can come up with all the inaccurate information you need. :)
