I am a lover of barlow , but always cannot find "the one" . I've already got a GEC barlow and a Vintage Camillus one , but the GEC is too small, and the Camillus's snap is a little weak .

I always digging and dreaming about "my one": Clip main blade with long pull, Pen second blade , stamped bolster, carbon steel and finally 3 1/4 ~ 3 3/4 closed.

In fact there are some ,like one of Boker on ebay about 99 bucks, fit my requirement perfectly. But I can see gap between bolster and stag. Also, I wanna more options.

Time for your suggestions and opinions to "my Barlow" now ! :welcoming:

I don't know much about Barlows, nor I can say I'm drawn to the pattern, but.....
...trusted rumours have it that GEC will be out with a 3,5" Barlow soon (#15 "Huckleberry")...so maybe it could be worth the wait :)

I tend to like a slightly larger folder and have generally been dissatisfied with the typical barlow offered because they are too small (at 3" closed). I have ceased carrying a barlow as a result. I however like the pattern. I went the other way and thinking larger is better and picked up a Remington Bullet (their 2009 knife). At 5" closed, it's too large for a pocket.

A GEC #25 sized at 3.5" would work for me. This is the same size as the GEC Pioneer.

A vigilant spot of sentry duty on the Bay will get you a Russell Green River Barlow in carbon with stamped stainless bolster. These are German made, come in some different handles and are very well-made indeed.

I'll second that! I sold a couple of Russell Green River Daddy Barlows on the bay. For the money they were solid knives.

I've been very happy with my Case Barlows at 3 3/8":

To quattromori : Awosome! Sure it is worth to wait!

To 22-rimfire:Yes ,just almost the same way . The #25 barlow of GEC is so beautiful but too small to fit big hand . So even it is not a user I still keep it , but seldom carry.

To willgoy ,pertinux,Invoice: I just googled and "bayed " them , really nice pieces . If I get time , "bay" is surely a good choice.

To zippofan : The grinding on your Case Barlow is nice and "strange" ,not the normal way I saw on other cases. Also nice photos !

To jwh : In my opinion the design of Case is a problem. They do not have precise swedges like GEC or etc. Also their nailpull is too wide , and the edge........forget it. Not to offensive ,if I have option ,I will never choose a Case traditional folder.

Thank you all for replys :)
