Best beer in the world?

Iron City - There you go. A real man's beer. I still have the 1975 Iron City commemorative Steelers Super Bowl Championship beer can I found when I was a kid. Too bad they won't repeat this year for a 30 year update...

"Um...Guiness of coarse..... other than that, anything that is darker than chocolate."

Datsgor - guiness on tap, for sure, but otherwise, it loses its appeal for me. Young's Oatmeal Stout, now there's a good dark one!

"samiclaus brings back my fondest memories. 1st bottle was sweet necter. like candy beer. the second, third and fourth bottles were vomitous hell that turned my stomach over instantly upon hitting my mouth. but that first bottle - amazing..."

Seth - Funny, that was exactly my experience with Samiclaus Dark, a beer with so much alcohol that the only way to get it that strong is to freeze it repeatedly and remove the water to concentrate it since that much alcohol kills the yeast and stops fermentation. What will they think of next?

Hey! jerry, think you can do that with Infi? :)

KING COBRA!!!!:barf:

Should keep this thread going so that sneaky bastard cobalt doesnt win with his string everyone along until the last second contest thread.

I like cheap beer... the kind that makes you smell like beer the next day while you're sweating your arse off cutting the grass.

My all time favorite has got to be Shiner, to expensive as an everyday.

Schlitz, room temp (showing my heritage :p ) is my choice right now, at Five and change for a twelve its perfect for us money challenged folk.:o Been drinking room temp beer so long now that a cold one is just nasty. A Bavarian tradition lives in Texas!:D

Dude, you're in San Antonio. Step up to Pearl!

Westvleteren is officially only sold at the monestary in Belgium (and the cafe below it). They have a limit (2 cases?) per person.

That being said, it is possible, at times, to find places that resell it in the states.

I like BEER all kinds -but I have a preference for Tseng Tao, Newcastle Nut Brown Ale, Amber Boch, Becks, Anchor Steam, Negro Modelo, Bass, Brew Moon's Black Hole. I also drink Sam Adams, Heineken, Corona, Mickey's big mouth oh heck just beer. :D

The secret is to drink it from a frosty glass mug.

Iron City tastes like crap but lets here it for Pittsburgh. I must say that as of late the best beers Ive had have been made by my brother and myself. Starting out with kits of course, much less cooking involved, but still very good. Trust me guys there is no substitute for brewing it yourself.

in my own opinion,, the best beer for me is the one that wont give me "da shitz" and a bad headache the next morning.

I have been cutting back here lately though,,,this is the first night that i have drank a beer in three weeks  (dranking Bud Light right now ;) )

personally i drank Bud Light, and Dos Equis XX Amber (Mexican).

I havent tried many other Imported brands but i am sure i would probably like some of the others if i tried 'um.

but for now,,,it is Bud Light and Dos Equis XX Amber for this poor, humble HOG:cool:

Wasz,

Yeah, home-brewed beer can be awesome, I agree. I used to do that all the time. I made some pretty good stout, too! It just sucks when you don't find out you screwed it up until weeks later and are drooling with thirst! :D
