Best benchmade deal at a yard sale or flea market

Pawn America gave my stepson $85 for my mini Barrage he stole to buy heroin. I wonder what they sold it for.

Friend of mine told me he bought a 710 in a pawnshop. It was in with a bunch of buck 110s all marked 10 bucks
which is what he paid. Lucky bugger

Some amazing deals on here.

At a flea market I found a old worn Auto Stryker serrated in 154cm, blade had coating missing, but lots of life left. The auto lock was on so I thought it was stuck, but after some fiddling I got it to function. Guy wanted $8 and I quickly whipped out my wallet. Turned out to be one of my most fun knives.

About an hour later at the same flea market, I found a good condition Emerson mini Commander in a box of Chinese junk knives. Cost... $8. My best day ever for knives.

You (I) go to those flea markets hoping someone throws that $100 knife in the box of $3 junk. For years you look because one day there will be that rose among the thorns.

With the internet on your phone it is extremely difficult to find a diamond in the rough, but sometimes it happens. I just couldn't believe it happened to me twice in one day. That is why I will continue to look.

Pawn shops are almost worthless nowadays it seems. Most everything prices above retail with no room for negotiations. But I go in and look around just for fun. The flea markets are where I do the vast majority of my spending now, not just on knives. Much more diversity in one location.
