Best Benchmade slicer folding knife?

Sounds like the better question is what BM is NOT a good slicer. So far most of the currently produced BMs and many discos have been mentioned.

The Adamas is probably NOT a very good slicer. My vote is for the 707 because I didn't see it named yet, and the 930 Kulgera because it turned out to have a very nice thin edge on the one I got.

Just got an axis Stryker today and it cut up veggies and chicken like a champ. I was surprised it did so well but gets a big  from me!

That Adamas is not ideal, no. Does fine, but not ideal.

I have a Bone Collector Large with the HG sheepsfoot D2 blade that is an excellent slicer.

Gotta be the Mini Onslaught 746. Full size works too but it's discontinued.

My best slicer from Benchmade.

lots of good answers here. it does seem like bm makes a lot of good slicing blades. my faves are the 710, 520, 950 and 940. all make short work of cardboard, fruit, wood without binding.

If you don t mind assisted opening the 581 is a fine slicer. If you do mind assited opening, de assist it.
The Ritter Grip is a fine slicer as well.
My 710 is a fine all around knife. Not hard for me to sharpen.

I had my mini stryker 2 reground to .010" behind the edge, and it is a great slicer... Big Chris did a great job on it.
I was kind of disappointed with how thick the edge was when I got it.

also

mini TSEK is a great slicer.. benchmade's 440C is good stuff with a thin, flat grind

Ritter grips make pretty great slicers. Personally I'm not a fan of the 940/940-1 in terms of slicing performance- the relatively narrow blade is just too thick to compete with even similarly sized knives such as the Kershaw Leek.

My first reactions were Dejavoo, the hollow ground and Ritter Grips and Onslaughts but they have already been mentioned.

With 2.5mm blade stock, the Torrent (a knife that deserves more love) and the HK Nitrous Blitz should not be discounted. Both assisted but that is easy enough to fix.

Yip my vote's for the 710 also I'll agree with the above post about the 890, wicked slicer, BUT not a great deal of love for it. Why??

Kris,.

I would think the 808 Loco is the new king slicer in the BM line up. But again, the Cold Steel Recon 1 Clip Point and American Lawman are much thinner behind the edge and should out slice any BM.
