Best blade color with Black Canvas Micarta

Hogs/Piglets,

I'm sold on the look and feel of Black Canvas Micarta and am torn on the blade color/finish to match it with. Of the coated colors, I'm leaning toward Sage or Tanker, but am open to others.

I know this is an old, already covered, topic, but what do you think looks best with black canvas handles?

Appreciate the input -- and if anyone has pics of Tanker and/or Sage and Black Canvas that would be great.

I like sage. It seems to be a color that can blend in with pretty much any environment. Nothing wrong with tanker though, just my opinion.

Satin or Double Cut are the best. :) After that, my preference is sage and then tanker and then black.
 
Sage or Tanker Gray are my 2 current favorites with black canvas micarta too.

My favorite with Black Canvas was the OD(jungle green), but since its no longer offered I would go with the Tanker Grey.
 
Keep in mind the "new" tanker gray does not quite look the same as the "old" TG as posted above in Jaxx's pics.

Jungle Green is still offered. Someone posted a Jungle Green NMFSH with orange/black G10 handles in the NMFSH pics thread.

Me too, and it is still available on the TGLB anyway. I'm looking at that right now on the Busse Combat site. I think the black canvas looks great with black and sage, but better with the OD.

I really thought about that combo, it is very striking, and of course you'd have a hard time losing your knife in the weeds, but my buddy would probably give me a ration about my "glow in the dark" handle. Great contrast though.

Q: I'll check the links already provided, but is there a place to determine what all the acronyms mean? (I.e, NMFSH).

I don't even have the TGLB in hand yet and I'm already thinking about a Natural Outlaw, which looks awesome... :eek:
 
Black on black, or sage on black for me. Both are good combinations.

I also have tanker on black, but black or sage looks better to me.
