Best Boxing Day Purchase EVER!!!

This wee one is interesting. Scales look ivory and one side someone scrimshawed a bit...

This one is interesting because it has two different scales on the same knife and this paper was tucked behind the holder of only this one knife...

What a great collection! As Herder mentioned, a few of those knives appear to be outgassing. Best to keep the ones that appear to be rusting bad away from the rest, until you can determine that no futher damage is happening to the rest of them. I'd also examine the ones that are tortoise shell closely. I have had bad luck with tortoise shell cell, and if any of those are, they could be of concern. Also, sometimes the cell will break down underneath the cell covers. You will see cracks form in the covers.

Regardless, it's an excellent display, thank you for taking the time to share it!

Here is one of the scout knives. It has the typical marking on the ricasso/tang area but on the other side are some odd markings. Not sure why those are there...

That is very nice little Wadsworth Scout knife. The letters "D.R.P.A." (Deutsches Reichs-Patent Angemeldet) on the back of the blade tang refer to a German Patent application. This little guy probably dates to around the 1920s.

I appreciate back story and info herder! I will keep posting more as I go. Here are some better shots of the other little Scout knives..
